Mortada Mansour responds to the news of Zamalek's withdrawal from the Super Cup

The advisor to the dismissed president of Zamalek Club, Mortada Mansour, commented on the news of the club’s desire to withdraw from the Super Cup against Al-Ahly.

In the past few hours, it was reported that Zamalek wanted to withdraw from the super match against Al-Ahly, after the appointment of an Egyptian arbitration committee to manage the match.

"We will not talk about the super competition until the volleyball cup final," Mortada Mansour said in a press statement.

As scheduled, Al-Ahly's men's team will face its rival, Zamalek, in the Egypt Volleyball Cup final on Thursday night.

The Referees Committee of the Egyptian Football Association, headed by Portuguese Vitor Pereira, handed over the task of arbitration in the Super Match to international referee Mahmoud Al-Banna.

The first football team of Zamalek Club (Egyptian League Champions) will face its rival Al-Ahly (Egypt Cup Champions) in the Egyptian Super Cup in the UAE on May 5th.
