Hussein Al-Sayed | Suspension of registration prevented us from including 5 players for Zamalek
Hussein Al-Sayed, a member of the former Zamalek management temporary committee, expressed his dissatisfaction with the departure of Imam Ashour, the football team player, during last winter's transfers, commenting on the future of the club's current board of directors after Mortada Mansour. He was removed from office in the past days.
Hussein Al-Sayed said in televised statements on the “Sada Al-Balad” channel: The departure of Imam Ashour is a catastrophe in the full sense of the word, as there is no substitute for him currently in the team, and Saif Jaafar cannot. He takes his place, and it is too early to judge him, as is the case of the newcomer, Ahmed Belhaj.”
And he continued: “Imam Ashour’s contract with Zamalek before I left the board of directors did not have any problems related to its documentation, and the committee amended it before its departure, but they were surprised after that that the contract was not documented, and the player’s departure came at a price less than its technical value due to the club’s need for funds.”
He added, “I am surprised by the decline in Omar Jaber’s level, and perhaps his problem is psychological. For me, the value of Mustafa Shalaby’s contract is very great compared to his capabilities, and leaking contracts in Zamalek has become a natural matter.”
He added: I hope to solve the current problems, and I am with the continuation of the elected council inside Zamalek and its management of the White Castle, because the club does not have cadres. It is more appropriate to implement the list in the current crisis regarding who heads the club.”
